We currently have a contract opportunity for a Tax Desk Advisor for our Employee Financial Services practice to assist with tax questions relating to retirement advisement for our clients. A tax background combined with exceptional customer service skills while educating and providing objective financial planning guidance to clients, primarily via phone in a call center environment is needed. This position also offers a flexible, professional and team-oriented working culture that fosters both financial planning and personal development.
Responsibilities:
Provide tax advice for financial counseling on a number of topics including retirement planning, education funding, benefit plans, and tax planning
Build relationships with clients without selling products in a call center environment
QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EDUCATION:
To qualify, candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree (concentration in accounting, finance, economics or a related field preferred)
CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred, but not required
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
Strong customer service skills
High written and verbal communication proficiency
Commitment to learning in a tax and financial planning technology environment
Proficiency in technology applications

a bachelor's degree (concentration in accounting, finance, economics or a related field preferred)
