We currently have a contract opportunity for a Tax Desk Advisor for our Employee Financial Services practice to assist with tax questions relating to retirement advisement for our clients. A tax background combined with exceptional customer service skills while educating and providing objective financial planning guidance to clients, primarily via phone in a call center environment is needed. This position also offers a flexible, professional and team-oriented working culture that fosters both financial planning and personal development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Provide tax advice for financial counseling on a number of topics including retirement planning, education funding, benefit plans, and tax planning
 Build relationships with clients without selling products in a call center environment
QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS, AND EDUCATION:
To qualify, candidates must have:
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Bachelor's degree (concentration in accounting, finance, economics or a related field preferred)
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred, but not required
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Strong customer service skills
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ High written and verbal communication proficiency
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Commitment to learning in a tax and financial planning technology environment
ΓΆΒ ΒΆ Proficiency in technology applications

Requirements

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
