Business Process Auditor at The Children's Place (TCP) provides independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve operations. This position helps TCP accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, governance and business processes.
Extract, collect and analyze data to identify potential risks, root cause of problems and compliance metrics
Evaluate and document existing business processes, assess the effectiveness of controls and recommend changes as needed to improve
Utilize existing knowledge of industry practices and analytical trends to conduct gap analysis comparing existing processes to desired business goals and best practices
Plan and perform operational audits of business cycles to assess procedures, effectiveness and risksAssist with the execution of Internal Audits including, developing audit scope and performing audit proceduresIn partnership with business owners, identify and recommend potential solutions or mitigation strategies to reduce risks
Facilitates and leads cross -functional meetings among diverse stakeholders to drive information gathering and process improvement implementation
Create repeating or automated controls that improve monitoring and review of key activities
Able to analyze complex implementations and identify required control and audit needs; functions as IA lead supporting company initiatives that involve process change
Required Skills:
Proficient in computer assisted analytical techniques/tools (SQL, Microsoft Access, ACL)
Strong analytical skills including ability to manipulate highly complex spreadsheets
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products including: Microsoft Access ,MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Project required
Excellent communication, presentation, project management and facilitation skills
Ability to work independently and manage projects in order to meet target goals within set deadlines
General understanding of IT environment, IT systems and applications
Education/
Experience:
Business Degree or Technical DegreeMaster's Degree or MBA a plus
Requires 4
years of relevant experience
Six Sigma Certification and Experience preferred
