Metrics Team is seeking an experienced data management and analytics professional to serve as a Metrics Reporting & Data Analyst. The candidate will play a key role ensuring the availability of required data elements in a centralized data repository in support of daily reporting and development of CoB Program metrics, including operational performance and risk indicators.
Responsibilities:
o Manage data and reporting for the functional area of Metrics and Analytics
o Analyze, evaluate and track metrics such as KPIs, KRIs to measure performance and continuity risk across multiple operational dimensions (business functions, staff, facilities, applications, databases, technology infrastructure-data centers and technology rooms, suppliers/vendors and outsourced service providers)
o Evaluate risk and make recommendations based on data analyzed
o Understand how the Metrics and Analytics function integrates within the overall organization to contribute to achieving business objectives
o Execute daily loads of multiple data files to the Organization's SQL Database
Qualifications:
Technical Skills and Experience
o 3+ years of experience in a similar Metrics & Reporting role
o Continuity of Business (COB) experience a plus
o Skills in technologies such as SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, VBA Scripting & Excel is required
o Good understanding of data models and querying databases (SQL server)
o Creating Business Intelligence Reporting is required
o Data analysis experience is required
o Experience with Data Marts - Both Star and Snow-flake Designs
Non-Technical Skills
o Interacting with business users as needed
o Managing and reporting the project deliverables
o Analytical and "quick thinker" - demonstrated ability to quickly respond and perform within a fast-paced and changing environment with little supervision
o Self-motivated and able to take the initiative to resolve technical issues

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
