PeopleSoft Techno-Functional Developer

Working with Project Managers to determine needs and applying /customizing existing technology to meet those needs
Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle
Work on all project phases including requirements gathering, Developing and testing
Cross functional experience with other PeopleSoft Financials Modules
Ability to explain critical integration intra-and inter touch-points of the respective application and module
Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conduct presentations, and advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems
Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
Report progress to clients and project managers
Experience with working in a Global Organization
Energetic / Strong desire to work hard
Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions
Peoplesoft Level 4 support for production.
Required PeopleSoft Skills: Technical/ Functional:
Minimum of 8 to 10 years PeopleSoft experience in one or more Financials modules
PeopleSoft Financials Functional Account Receivables, Billing, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Project Costing modules
Experience with PeopleSoft 8.4x
Support and maintenance experience
Solid understanding of setup tables and reporting
Solid understanding of integration of all modules
Solid understanding of processing requirements for module in which candidate has expertise
Proven business knowledge as well as PeopleSoft specific functional knowledge
Excellent technical skills in People tools 8.x, PeopleCode, CI and Application Engine programming.
Good knowledge of Oracle- SQl, PL/SQL
Crystal Reports
Knowledge of Pro C / Cobol preferred
Knowledge of nVision is preferred.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:
Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and client expectations
Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution
Clear and effective communication
Consistently produce clear, concise status reports
Builds confidence and trust with clients
Displays effective analytical skills
Demonstrated experience in cross-training team
Ensures all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.
