The Opportunity:
Multiple physician practices in the NJ Metro area are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join their leadership team.
In this critical role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple practices, ensuring their efficient and successful delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational aspects of the affiliated practices.
Collaborate with physicians, practice administrators, and the finance team to develop and implement operational initiatives that optimize efficiency, profitability, and patient satisfaction.
Manage real estate contracts and negotiations.
Develop and oversee marketing strategies for the practices.
Manage and optimize equipment and office supplies across all locations.
Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and development of a high-performing staff.
Navigate and resolve day-to-day operational issues with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that celebrates diversity and respects multiple personalities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7 years of experience in healthcare administration or a related field, with a proven track record of success in managing complex operations.
Physician practice experience highly preferred.
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) or Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on healthcare (preferred).
Bachelor's degree with significant healthcare leadership experience may be considered.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Experience managing and motivating diverse teams.
In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and healthcare specific software applications.
