Backup and Storage.
As the Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the backup infrastructure and storage technologies from leading vendors such as Rubrik, Dell, NetApp, IBM, and Pure.
This enterprise-level position requires a deep understanding of backup and storage solutions, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to guide and inspire your teams to achieve exceptional results.

Backup Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of backup solutions, with a primary focus on Rubrik and Dell technologies.
Ensure backup systems are robust, reliable, and meet the organization's Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs).
Develop and enforce backup policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Continuously monitor backup systems' performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements as needed.
Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate backup processes with disaster recovery plans.
Storage Technology Management:
Manage the deployment, administration, and optimization of storage technologies from Dell, NetApp, IBM, and Pure.
Evaluate storage requirements, capacity planning, and implement scalable storage solutions.
Ensure storage systems are highly available, secure, and capable of meeting performance demands.
Monitor storage performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize configurations to maximize efficiency.
Stay updated on emerging storage technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve overall storage infrastructure.
Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with backup and storage vendors.
Collaborate with vendors to understand product roadmaps, evaluate new features, and provide feedback for product enhancements.
Manage vendor contracts, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
Documentation and Reporting:
Create and maintain documentation related to backup and storage processes, configurations, and operational procedures.
Generate regular reports on backup and storage performance, capacity utilization, and trends.
Present key findings, recommendations, and project updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications are a plus.
Proven experience in managing backup and storage infrastructure at an enterprise level.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Rubrik and Dell backup technologies.
Strong familiarity with storage technologies from Dell, NetApp, IBM, and Pure.
Proficient in designing and implementing backup and storage solutions, including architecture design, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
Solid understanding of disaster recovery principles and best practices.
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
