Essential Job Functions:
Monitors the billing efforts of the Billing Supervisors and Billing Analysts to ensure adherence to company protocols.
Supervise billing team including approving time and attendance, disciplinary measures, coaching, and training.
Oversees the change request process for new and existing contracts Ensure full understanding of customer billing portals (Service Channel, Ariba, Maximo, Proliance, etc), including timely submission of invoices.
Partner with collections team on customer accounts and proper payment application of invoices.
Bill projects based on contract value and percent complete accounting.
Prepare and submit invoices timely per customer requirements.
Maintain standard or SOV templates according to AIA standards.
Develop working relationship with both internal and external customers.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position is directly responsible for leading the managing the entire Billing department.
The individual carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees.
All hiring, coaching, performance management and terminations are to be in coordination with HR support and approval.
Required Skills/Abilities:

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field, and three or more years' experience in Billing Management 2 - 5 years supervisory experience; training experience preferred.
Track record of results-oriented process improvement; ability to motivate staff.
Elevator experience preferred.
Good organizational skills; attention to detail.
Excellent data entry and computer skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
