The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the manufacturing plant.
The successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining a safe and efficient production environment while achieving quality, cost, and delivery targets.
This position will require strong leadership, technical knowledge, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to achieve production targets and objectives in line with company goals.
Experience with new ERP systems integration.
Manage plant operations to ensure maximum efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Monitor and analyze production metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as required.
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
Develop and maintain a positive and productive working relationship with employees, vendors, and customers.
Hire, train, and manage a team of manufacturing personnel.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure the production of high-quality products that meet customer specifications.
Develop and manage the plant budget, including labor, materials, and capital expenditures.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive cost reduction and process improvements.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and customers.
Ensure all plant equipment is properly maintained and operating efficiently.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on plant operations, including production, quality, safety, and financial performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
At least 5
years of experience in the aviation manufacturing industry 5
years in a plant manager role.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven experience in production management, including lean manufacturing, process improvement, and quality control.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret data.
Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations.
Experience in budget management and financial analysis.
Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
